Boutonnieres and Corsages Fernshaw Gardens, INC
The simple touch of boutonnieres and corsages are a great way to add elegance to your wedding. They also allow you to include loved ones who are not in the bridal party as part of your special day.
Boutonnieres
Boutonnieres are worn by the groom and his groomsmen. The flowers used are typically those that were used in the bridal and bridesmaids' bouquets. The groom's boutonniere tends to include different flowers and/or ribbon than the groomsmen's to set him apart.

You may also want to consider boutonnieres for fathers, grandfathers, and any other men who should receive special recognition.
Corsages
Corsages are given to women who are not part of the bridal party but who should still receive special recognition. This includes, but is not limited to, mothers and grandmothers. Typically, corsages are done in neutral tones so as not to clash with the women's outfits. Another option is to use the same flower types that were used for the bridal bouquet.

Corsages can be made to wear on a woman's chest or wrist. If possible, determine what each woman would prefer prior to consultation.
