Centerpieces Fernshaw Gardens, INC

The possibilites are limitless when it comes to centerpieces and table arrangements. Spend time browsing photographs of arrangements until you find a style that appeals to you.

Things to Consider:

1. Flower Type

Generally, flowers from the bridal bouquet are pulled into the table arrangements. From there, additional flowers and greenery are added to complete the look.

2. Vase or Oasis Form

Arrangements can be done in a vase or set into an oasis form and then built around it so that you can no longer see anything but the arrangement. If using vases, consider other options such as covering the flowers with water or adding stones or other organic material as accents.

3. Size

The size of your centerpieces is an important thing to consider. You want them to add elegance to your table but not to overwhelm it. You also want to think about height. They should either be short enough to see over or tall enough that you can easily see around them. Your centerpieces shouldn't interfere with your guests' ability to have conversation.

4. Quantity

Determine the number of guest tables that you plan on having. You may also want centerpieces for other tables at your reception, such as the gift table.

5. Head Table

Consider whether you want the centerpiece at your head table to be the same as the others. You may want a larger arrangement or you may need more than one depending on whether you are using a round or long table.
